The following points in this data sheet must be observed:
1. Spiral diameter
The spiral diameter is not necessarily twice the radius of the step. This dimension differs, depending on whether the hand rails are mounted inside or outside the step.
For example, this means:
A step radius of 1000 mm and mounting points on supports 40 mm outside the step produces a hand rail diameter of 2080 mm. Conversely: If the mounting points are inside the step, e.g. 30 mm, the hand rail diameter is 1940 mm
.
2. Step width
If the steps overlap, the width is measured without the overlap of the following step. The accuracy with which the spiral run later fits primarily depends on these two factors.
The rods of approx. 3.0 to .6.0 metres are rounded, leaving the initial bending ends and without reworking any pressure points which may occur during bending. The spiral is bent in accordance with your data. You may possibly need to make minor corrections on site.
